Siena is a city filled with incredible Gothic architecture. Siena also boasts the world famous Palio run, which is a horse race run around the Il Campo Piazza twice every summer.  One of the best things to do is to climb the 500 steps of the Torre del Mangia, perhaps the city's most iconic landmark, which sounds like a huge challenge.  But for those who are up to it they will be rewarded with some of the most amazing sights of the entire area.
