Being Finland’s oldest state hotel and situated in a must place to visit, this is truly a wonderful place to stay! Located on Punkaharaju Nature Reserve with beautiful lake views between it’s majestic pines, this area has been inspired by many famous Finnish artists for centuries. The first part of the hotel was originally a forest ranger house built in 1845, having been extended and widened to offer 11 cosy yet high class hotel rooms, along with 7 villa rooms and 12 forest cabins.

The hotel offer’s a range of activities including forest hiking, mushroom picking, cycling safari’s, canoeing and seal lake safari, taking advantage of all this wonderful area has to offer. After a days activities head back to the hotel to relax and unwind, and sit on the hotels rocking chair terrace taking in the awe inspiring views.
