Infante de Sagres opened its doors in 1951 and is housed in a listed building that contains a wealth of decorative details, such as exquisite ironwork, carved wood details and magnificent stained-glass panels. This legendary grand dame of Portuguese hotels has reopened its doors in April 2018 after extensive restoration and renovation.
The Infante de Sagres has a prime location in the heart of Porto, close to the historic monuments, Ribeira and the UNESCO World Heritage Site, offering an excellent choice of accommodation for people wanting to be within easy reach of everything and not comprising form luxury in this nostalgic hotel.
Additionally, the Porto wine cellars can be easily visited just over the Dom Luis I bridge in Gaia and reached either on foot, by taxi or by river taxi from the Infante de Sagres. As well as nearby monuments and famous shopping streets, you will find the Galerias de Paris with its trendy restaurants and bars, within close proximity to the Infante de Sagres.
