Set amongst spectacular mountain scenery, on the edge of the National Park, yet only about half an hour from the sea and beautiful beaches, SuGologone is somewhat of a surprise.
Famous throughout Italy for its restaurants, Su Gologone serves amazing, traditional and typical Sardinian food - a gastronomic delight - and guests here will enjoy what must be the most authentic experience of Sardinian cuisine. Whether it is breakfast, dinner or lunch, enormous effort and skill go into producing and serving food, with most cooked and baked in the hotel's own kitchens.
Colourful, stylish and individual, with lovely little touches, everywhere, there is an inner courtyard, with accommodation in five two-story buildings - no one room is the same as another. There is an absolute profusion of flowers, climbers, trees and shrubs in the gardens and on the terraces. Wonderful antiques furnish Su Gologone's characterful and comfortable public rooms, which are filled with Sardinian art and locally crafted artefacts.
The delightful swimming pool sits on a sunny, lawned terrace, which has glorious views over the surrounding countryside. Delicious light lunches are usually served nearby, in a lovely gazebo area, close to the pool. The open air jacuzzi, on an elevated corner of the terrace, is a real treat. There are also tennis courts, bikes, table-tennis and a small gym.

Arrive in Olbia Airport and meet your taxi driver for your transfer to Su Gologone where you will enjoy a four-night stay in a Deluxe Room based on Half Board excluding beverages.
Enjoy your welcome drink with fruit cocktail, local wine and tapas. Check in and relax at the hotel. Meet your local host at an agreed time for an orientation meeting and visit to Botteghed’Arte “Su Gologone Style” where you can enjoy a creative lesson on a subject you may choose during your stay as an extra to your holiday. You can learn decoration, embroidery painting and bijoux.
Dinner in a warm and traditional atmosphere in the Restaurant’s Terrace to sample typical Sardinia Specialties. Beverages are excluded and can be paid locally.
After your tasty Sardinian breakfast meet your tour guide at the hotel reception for your tour to Tiscali Village. Depart from the hotel and continue towards the green valley of Lanaitho dominated by impressive nights of the Supramonte of Oliena. A 60-minute hike along a trail leads you to Tiscali, a Neuralgic Village but inside a huge doling where access is secured by an impressive split on the mountain wall. The site displays the ruins of numerous huts which are mangoes, the few remains of the Neuralgic Settlement datum back to 1800 BC.
*Note: The Nuragic civilisation, born and developed in Sardinia lasted from the Bronze Age (18th century BC) to the 2nd century AD. The civilisation's name derives from its most characteristic monument, the nuraghe, a tower-fortress type of construction built in numerous exemplars starting from about 1800 BC. Today some 7,000 nuraghes dot the Sardinian landscape.
at 1 pm enjoy your typical lunch with the shepherds overlooking the beautiful countryside on this mountain location.
Return to the hotel and rest, enjoy the SPA or continue walking around the estate to discover some beautiful plants and wildlife. Dinner at the hotel.
Breakfast on the terrace with typical products. Meet your tour guide whom will be your host for today to take you to Cala Luna, a full day excursion discovering the charming bays of East Coast. You will walk to Cala Luna, enjoy the magnificent views and the sounds of the sea. By lunch time your guide will set you a perfect hamper picnic with local products and wine. Depending on the weather this may be in a restaurant as well. Return to the hotel for relaxation.
19.00 Happy Hour at the Bar Magico Tablao and visit at Botteghe D”Arte
20.00 Special Bread Making & Dinner Experience at the “Nest of the Bread” The Sardinian old bakery with the wood burning oven where you can join in with the preparation of the bread if you wish to, or enjoy the show with your local wine. You will taste the local Sardinian Bread prepared with aromatic herbs and Sardinian olive oil.
21.30 After Dinner Stargazing on the terrace of dreams dedicated to observation of the stars through a telescope.
After Breakfast start your half day excursion to Lake Cedrino. You will depart with a Canoe from the Su Gologone Spring through the Ganagasula ravine to reach the Cedrino Lake. The return journey will be on foot following the coal-men’s route.
Lunch: Picnic on the river and visit to the Abbafrisca’s Museum.
Typical Sardinian Dinner at the hotel followed by Fold group show of Oliena.
Depending on the departure time of your flight, return your hire car to the airport and check in for your flight home.
