Northern Pearls – 7 Nights One-Way Cruise

The lesser known part of Croatia, the northern Dalmatia is as beautiful as the fashionable south as there are number of beautiful islands, amazing small bays and dotted small historic towns and villages en-route between Opatija and Split. The beautiful island of Krk, the largest one of all, connected to the mainland with a toll bridge, fascinating Zadar, and beautiful towns such as Trogir or Sibenik as just the few paces that you will get to enjoy on this tour. As this is a one-way cruise, you will have the opportunity to add extra nights to both end of the cruise benefiting from the program as you will be able to enjoy the Istrian peninsula, or few nights in Opatija, followed by the 7 nights cruise and then extra nights in one of the charming boutique hotels in Split or on the island of Brac or Hvar. Best of both worlds!

Day 1: Saturday OPATIJA - KRK ISLAND
Departure with lunch on board followed by a swim stop in the crystal-clear sea on route to Krk island - the largest of the Croatian islands. Evening at leisure to enjoy numerous cafes and restaurants alongside the waterfront. Overnight in town of Krk.

Day 2: Sunday KRK ISLAND - RAB ISLAND
After breakfast, we cruise towards Rab island known as the “island of love”. Sightseeing of the town, encircled by medieval walls, Romanesque church towers, churches and palaces, stone streets and ancient facades. Overnight in town of Rab.

Day 3: Monday RAB ISLAND - ZADAR
Morning cruise from Rab towards Zadar along Pag island with a swim stop on the tiny MAUN island. Enjoy guided tour of the city, which was the metropolis of Dalmatia for centuries, and today the centre of the region. Visit the famous Zadar Sea Organs and “The Greeting to the Sun” light installation. Overnight in Zadar.

Day 4: Tuesday ZADAR - KORNATI/VODICE
Morning departure for the National Park Kornati, which consists of 89 islands, islets and rocks. Enjoy the ruins of the ancient Illyrian fortress, Roman villas, old Christian church of St Mary and medieval fortresses and settlements that add to the value of the islands, and reefs that are sometimes as steep as 100 m deep in the sea. Afterwards we continue to Vodice, a typical small Dalmatian town, where we will overnight.

Day 5: Wednesday VODICE – KRKA WATERFALLS/PRIMOŠTEN
Enjoy the beautiful view of the Krka River Canyon while cruising towards the town of Primošten. This is the place to taste the local wines and everything for which this city is known. Overnight in Primošten.

Located on a small island, connected to the mainland and Čiovo peninsula by two bridges, the town is a magical place that offers plenty of cultural and historical monuments, charming small “konobas” – croatian taverns and restaurants that offer a wide range of typical Dalmatian specialties. Overnight in Trogir harbour.
