There’s the ancient Arena, where some of Italy’s finest opera seduces the ears every year between June and August. Shakespeare chose to set his tragedy, Romeo & Juliet in the beautiful city of Verona and it is definitely one to fall in love with!
Verona was once chosen by the Romans to rest their shields and spears, leaving behind an impressive cultural and architectural footprint from medieval palaces and fresco-festooned churches.
As well as having Verona's incredible cultural sights, mesmerising art & natural beauty at your fingertips for three nights, you'll also have the opportunity to be accommodated literally opposite the Italy's most famous balcony, the hotel we have selected for this special package is the famous Il Sogno di Giulietta. Charming Luxury hotel Il Sogno Di Giulietta shares a courtyard with the Juliet’s house, allowing you to enjoy your opera break in the most romantic location in Verona.
Situated within a beautifully maintained historic house in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Verona, Il Sogno di Giulietta proudly holds one of the most romantic spots in the world. Rooms are lavish and decorated with classic furniture and finest textiles. With breakfast served in your suitably opulent room, you have plenty of time to ponder the power of love and dramatically quote classic Shakespearean lines.
