Day 1: ARRIVAL IN SANTORINI
Starting your island-hopping holiday in Santorini is a dream come true on this glorious island that offers spectacular views of lavender and coral evening skies, beautiful mountainous mainland and glamourous whitewashed buildings dating back to the 17th century.
You will be met at the airport by your driver whom will transfer you to the luxurious Sun Rocks Hotel, where you will be able to take advantage of the amazing facilities that is offered only to our Long Travel guests.
An overnight stay will ensure that you can either utilise the luxurious facilities or take a venture through the narrow cobblestoned Grecian alleys and follow the swirling sweet aromas thrust by restaurants in the blissful night skies.
Day 2: EMBARK TO MYKONOS
Your driver will be at hand to transfer you from your hotel to Santorini Port where you will embark on a short ferry ride by to Mykonos.
Once at Mykonos Port, you will be met by your driver whom will transfer you to the dazzling Pietra E Mare Hotel. With five wonderful days in the most glamorous island of all the Cyclades, there are many things to experience ideally for travellers seeking enchanting history, streets filled with luxurious shops and restaurants, and beautiful mansion-like whitewashed buildings.
Treat yourself to some local Aegean specialities like a peppered cheese called Kopanisiti sprinkled as a topping on most meals in Mykonos and is known as one of their trademarks. Visit Kalo Livadi, a local beach to get away from touristic attractions and recline in the sizzling sun with a splendid view of the crystal-clear waters.
For travellers seeking to uncover the ancient Greek past then venture to the Aegean Maritime Museum, specialising in merchant-ship history and was the first ever Greek museum to restore living historical exhibits in their original state.
Take a glance at the Windmills of Kato Mili, constructed in the 16th century out of wood and straw and are a must-see when visiting the iconic Mykonos. If seeking to take back some memoirs with you in the form of items then visit Spyral Art Gallery where local Greek artists sell and exhibit artwork created with a traditional theme.
Day 8: EMBARK TO MYKONOS AIRPORT
