  • Villa Del Golfo Lifestyle Resort

This hand-picked itinerary allows you to visit two contrasting parts of Sardinia, for a richly diverse experience.

Su Gologone is the only mountain National Park in Sardinia, and it’s the perfect place to stay for a traditional Sardinian experience. You’ll have the chance to try your hand at pottery, breadmaking, and other crafts and cookery. The beautiful inland scenery of the eastern part of the island is simply unmissable.

The stunning boutique hotel Villa del Golfo is ideally located, overlooking the sea. It has three fantastic restaurants to choose from – its MiraLuna Restaurant gives you a wonderful culinary experience inspired by the Mediterranean, Cutter Lounge serves refreshing salads and gourmet pizzas for a relaxed lunch or dinner, and at La Colti Farmhouse you can expect a traditional, seasonal Sardinian menu.

Itinerary

Where you will stay:

3 Nights at Su Gologone
4 Nights at Villa Del Golfo

NORTH WEST SARDINIA - Now a popular holiday resort, Alghero is a charming old Catalan town often referred to as the Coral Riviera, nestled into the north west Sardinian coastline, with wonderful views over the bay to the dramatic cliffs at Capo Caccia. The old walled Alghero town, within the ancient ramparts and lookout towers, has a lively atmosphere with a good selection of shops, café bars and restaurants. It has an interesting history to discover manifested in its well-preserved architecture. There is a 5km long white sandy beach stretching from the port and marina to Fertilia and other lovely coves and beaches on the way to Porto Conte.

NORTH EAST SARDINIA - In recent years, the once wild and almost deserted north east coast, home of a few fishermen with a couple of shepherds scattered here and there in the hinterland, has been transformed into one of the most desirable resort areas in the Mediterranean. The little town of Golfo Aranci has a few shops, gelaterias and pizzerias. On the south of the peninsular are numerous coves and bays with white sand and electric turquoise sea, ideal for swimming and snorkelling.  There is a long beach at Pittulongu with bar and pizzeria. To the north of the peninsular is the stylish Porto Rotondo yacht marina, with a selection of designer boutiques, stylish café bars and restaurants set around the pontoons. From here the beautiful Costa Smeralda coastline leads up to Porto Cervo, dotted with coves and beaches with clear turquoise sea.
