Monopoli

Monopoli is a wonderful destination to choose for a holiday or part of a longer trip to Puglia or a winter break even.

Almost equidistant and less than an hour from Bari and Brindisi airports, it is easy to get a transfer and avoid the need for a car. The town has everything you could possibly need – a modern part with chic shops, a sheltered harbour, with traditional fishing boats; and a quaint centro storico, with some great trattorie and restaurants.

Full of character, houses seem literally crammed into the narrow streets and alleyways and it is a joy to stroll around. Along the walls is just one of Monopoli’s pretty little rocky coves, with some golden sand and crystal clear water, and overlooked by the incredible 1000 year old Castle of Santo Stefano.
