Description

A romantic bolthole, a boutique trullo & amazing pool, great views. Close to all of our hearts for its enchanting location Trullo Noce is the perfect romantic hideaway. Guests say that it really brings out the romance in them...

Our own "real gem", Trullo Noce is idyllic. Particularly spacious for only two and quite open-plan, it is beautifully furnished, has a somewhat designer feel, and is indeed an absolute jewel. Detached and next to Trullo Melograno, it is in an equally rural spot, with spectacular views over the surrounding countryside, to the wooded hillside beyond, and the same stunning pool.

Outside, there is a built-in barbecue and a large piazzale, which overlooks a small valley of mature olive trees and a variety of fruit trees, terraced into the landscape. Guests have the choice of sitting in the sun or relaxing in the shade of Trullo Noce's ancient olive trees, and are welcome to help themselves to any fruit and nuts in season.

Trullo Noce has its own path to the fabulous swimming pool, which is landscaped into the grounds (about 50m away) and discreetly hidden by dry stone walls. Shared only with Trullo Melograno, with stunning views reaching far into the distance, this is surely a slice of paradise.

Our stock of our neighbour's wine (and honesty box) - ridiculously reasonably priced, has also proved to be very popular - very popular, indeed! Another big hit is our olive oil - extra virgin, cold press and as organic as it gets, it is Pugliese oil at its best.

Past guests write of "getting hooked " on Trullo Noce and of "quickly falling under its spell ". It is certainly magical and a real romantic hideaway. As guests Adele & David, from Burnley, wrote, "You could be the most famous person in the world and remain anonymous here - no paparazzi, just sublime serenity and spectacular scenery! " Its glorious setting is particularly popular with honeymooners or any couple searching for a romantic holiday. No-one ever wants to leave!

Note that there is an open stone staircase, at the front of Trullo Noce - a traditional and attractive feature giving access to the roof. Therefore, a possible hazard for over-adventurous guests!

Smoking - we ask smokers to smoke outside only please.

Named one of Italy's 20 Hottest Hotels & Villas 2015 by the Sunday Times (18/01/15)

“Thanks to Sandro and entire Long Travel team for everything – including the small touches. All in all Trullo Noce has not been just a good holiday; it has been a wonderful experience, which makes you feel in a completely different place. Grazie.” Peter & Patricia, Belfast

“Although we had seen the pictures of Trullo Noce, it was only when Sandro brought us in that we truly appreciated how stunning it is. Exceptionally well-presented ad fitted out. The pool is fabulous with great views.” Peter & Patricia, Belfast

“Thank you to Domenico, Concetta and all at Long Travel for making our stay in Trullo Noce so memorable. We are sorry to be going home.” Karina & Rob, Leamington Spa

“A slice of paradise! Our 3rd and not the last visit for us to our favourite trullo in Puglia. Thank you Long Travel.” Cindy & Mark

“Trullo Noce is the best self-catering place we have ever stayed in. Cisternino is a very special place.” Maureen & John

“Our first visit to both Trullo Noce and Puglia. Both more than met our expectations. We don’t make a habit of visiting the same place twice (too much of the world still to explore) but we make an exception for this lovely place.” David & Jane, Derbyshire

“A wonderfully relaxing week in Trullo Noce. The trullo is so well appointed and in a stunning setting.” Stuart & Linda, Kingston

“Trullo Noce was beautifully kept, with everything you need in an ideal setting and a marvellous pool.” John & Maureen, London

"Our first but definitely not our last visit to Puglia and Trullo Noce. Breakfast outside looking over the view has been such a pleasure, as has been just sitting, reading to the accompanying birdsong. This really is a special place, the trullo is everything we had hoped for and my long-held belief that staying in one would be magical has been vindicated.

We fly back to England, sadly, but in the knowledge that we will be back. We will be back." Fiona & Clive, Melksham

"I knew from the moment I rang them at Long Travel that we were onto a winner! From the moment we met Sandro the rhythm of life here ensnared us. What could be better than a lazy breakfast in the sun on the terrace?

As to Trullo Noce – how can one describe the embracing peacefulness? Total silence at night – nothing penetrates those thick walls. This is priceless. The quiet serenity of this countryside demands to be recorded!!

We loved Trullo Noce in every possible detail and hope to return." John & Susan, Lincoln

"What a truly gorgeous place. Excellent, 5+ stars, we wanted for nothing. Domenico, Concetta and co. work so very hard to keep everything in tip-top order." John & Margaret, Yarm

“Memories of Trullo Noce
Truly wonderful,
Romantic and relaxing.
Utterly peaceful,
Lovingly restored,
Lavender scent lingering at dusk.
Olive trees, their silver green leaves blowing in the breeze.

Nostalgic and magical,
Outstanding views,
Charming and charismatic,
Endearing and enduring.

We arrived tired and stressed from our day-to-day lives. We are sad to leave but so do feeling relaxed and rejuvenated after a week at this beguiling and bewitching trullo in this lovely Italian countryside. We have enjoyed the pool with the entertainment provided at duck by the house martins dipping and diving for a drink; the shade of the olive trees so perfect for reading with a glass of wine. We had very high hopes for this holiday and they have truly been surpassed. “Memories are photographs of the heart” and we will dream of Trullo Noce."  Louise & Dean, Hampshire

"Is there anything like the relief of arriving at your holiday destination and realising it’s amazing? Peace, sun, shade, great food and a conical roof! Cisternino is now our favourite Italian town." Helen & Joanna, London

"Isn’t this just lovely? One of the nicest, quietest places in the world. The pool always looks inviting. We’ve been happy relaxing under the beautiful olive trees. We came her to relax and I can’t think of a nicer place to do so. Thank you to everyone – you should all be proud of what you’ve done here." Diana & Adam, Cranbrook

"What a lovely time we’ve had at Trullo Noce – a truly quiet place and so relaxing after our busy lives in London." Stephen & Natalie, Croydon

"For our honeymoon we wanted two things: a place to relax after the wedding build up and a chance to enjoy cooking and eating some fantastic food. Trullo Noce of Cisternino gave us both of those things in abundance! After a couple of nights in the amazing and outstanding Lecce, we arrived at Trullo Noce and instantly fell in love with it. This is our first visit to Italy and it is so much more than we expected.

Thank you for making our honeymoon so easy and enjoyable. Your attention to detail from the directions to the wonderful welcome, to the first class finish of the Trullo – we knew we were in for a treat! You can tell that this place is loved and it is infectious.

Words can’t really express our gratitude for making our honeymoon and our introduction to Italy so special. Thank you." Claire & Matt, North Shields

"Cisternino…fabulous trulli and villas, stunning landscape and the delight of Trullo Noce – spotless, welcoming and unbelievably peaceful.  So much so, we will return in September!"  Joseph & Rosita, Croydon

"We can’t believe how this wonderful week has flown past!  We arrived in this little oasis nursing very high stress levels.  After a couple of days in this beautiful trullo, so well-equipped for a comfortable and relaxing stay, we are completely unwound – with the aid of the fabulous pool, of course."  Sandy & Tony, Bedford

"Our week at Trullo Noce was beautifully relaxing and we were really impressed by the trullo.  The furnishings and decoration are lovely and it is so nice to be able to just walk into a place and immediately feel at home."  Felicity & Jeremy, London

"Trullo Noce really is a little trullo-shaped slice of heaven!  As ever, the trullo is perfect to the smallest details, together with the excellent Long Travel service and the great staff on the ground here.  The pool is tremendous – it’s a real privilege to have such a beautiful pool in such a wonderful location."  Susan & Russell, London

"The trullo is perfect – spotlessly clean and well-equipped.  We had a great 2 weeks – everything we had hoped for in terms of tranquillity and totally getting away from it all."  John & Julie, London

"We arrived at Trullo Noce and were given a real ‘wow’ moment.  Enjoy this place as much as we did – the pool is fantastic, the peace & scenery are good for the body, soul and mind.  This is one place we will consider a return trip to."  Hilary & John, Addlestone

"I see that lots of people only come for a week and move on.  This is my favourite place on the planet to come and wind down.  Going to find it hard to go home – hope to come back before long."  Sue & Stuart, Manchester

"Trullo Noce is an absolute delight – very beautifully restored, the pool is superb and the setting is fantastic."  Jeremy & Jean, Hastings

"Somehow I expected Sandro to be a small older Italian man…not the handsome man he is!! And, Trullo Noce is better in real life than the brochure.  We are going home relaxed and happy and already flicking through the LT brochure to see where we can spend our next adventure.  Thank you – it’s been wonderful."  April & Marcus, Horsham

"Our 2nd visit to Trullo Noce this year and as enjoyable as the first.  We’re sure there’ll be a 3rd visit."  Rosita & Joseph, Croydon

"Thanks to the team at LT for their fantastic arrangements - 7 nights at this idyllic trullo.  All our needs have been catered for superbly.  We have loved everything about this little haven – the tranquillity, the pool, the friendly locals, the lovely town.  Thank you for the opportunity to stay in this lovely part of paradise."  Alison & Di, Lancaster

"You could be the most famous person in the world and remain anonymous here - no paparazzi, just sublime serenity and spectacular scenery! " Adele & David, Burnley

"We've had a blissful week at Trullo Noce. The trullo is every bit as perfect as Helen painted. " Jane & Tom, London

Aoife O'Riordain wrote for The Independent, "It is surrounded by idyllic fields of wild flowers and olive trees and offers a luxurious take on trullo-living. "

"We go home today. Boohoo! Hope to come again soon. I am now so relaxed I could fall off my chair, or that may just be the wine! " Sue & John, Devon

"We have loved everything about Trullo Noce, inside and out. We live in a rural area at home but, sitting outside here, listening to the birds and nothing else, certainly tops that. " Sue & Iain, Ipswich

"Had a wonderful relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Thanks for providing such a lovely haven - well managed, well looked after - everything we needed. " Diane & Mike, Northants

"Well, we broke our cardinal rule and having been seduced by Trullo Zingaro we returned to Cisternino. We have now spent two fantastic fortnights in this beautiful part of Southern Italy. We have a feeling that we'll be back again. " Derrick & Jo, Bristol

"What an amazing trullo this is! Everything possible is here, loved the pool. Sheer joy to sit on lovely terrace, enjoy the view and lose oneself in the ambience of the countryside. " Catherine & Walt, Oxted, Surrey

"Trullo Noce is perfect, location is perfect, people are perfect. My tip is to completely let go and sink into slow way of life of the Mezzogiorno - just sit under the olive tree with a glass of wine and listen to the silence. Perfect peace." Thelma & Geoff, Fleet

"The trullo is simply beautiful, so peaceful we really don't want to leave. " David & Elli, Nottingham

"Beautiful, serene and tranquil. We loved the swallows swooping to drink and dip in the superb pool and we had a pair of mating owls which we saw by torchlight. " Karen and Graham, Thetford

"We have been able to really relax and unwind here. The trullo is perfect, the setting idyllic. We are not looking forward to our return to London - but such is life. " Lucy May & Bryn, London

"Many thanks for a blissful two week honeymoon. It is truly another world here. " Lucy & Alistair, Truro

"You have created a beautiful and peaceful hideaway, packed full of character and charm. We wanted a chill out hol and that's exactly what we got! " Anna & Richard, Dagnall

"I want to just wrap this place up and take it back with me! A week is too short - thank you, thank you, thank you. " Avril & David, N Yorks
