Southern Italy has
everything, rolling hills, volcanoes, mountains, national
parks, almost endless expanses of olive groves and vineyards,
lovely wooded hillsides and of course, a beautiful coastline.
There are so many areas to visit where
you can walk or simply relax and enjoy the views.
Wild flowers in spring, give way to trees laden with fruit.
Grapes in various stages of ripeness, throughout summer
and early autumn and of course olive trees, which blossom
in May and are harvested from late October onwards. Stunning
views which change colour, depending on the time of day
and the time of year. These are sights which can be
enjoyed, which will be cherished long after your holiday
has ended.
From the Hotel Le Gole, where you can easily access the
snow-capped mountains of Abruzzo, to the Hotel Lucania in
the heart of the Pollino National Park in Basilicata, or
the Hotel Villa Cheta, where you overlook the rugged coast
of Basilicata – each has its own charm and personality and
each will offer something very different depending on the
time of year you chose to go.
