Italian Lakes and Mountains

Southern Italy has some of the most amazing countryside you can find anywhere in the world. Beautiful lakes, soaring mountains that are snow capped for much of the year. The landscape is unknown to many who visit the south.

We have a variety of accommodation, which allows you to take full advantage of these wonderful sights. Il Vecchio Borgo is only a short distance from lake Bracciano and the Gran Sasso Mountains of Abruzzo. Hotel Su Gologone, famed throughout Sardinia for its wonderful food, is backed by Mount Corrasi. Villa Levante is unique, a converted castle on the edge of the Madonie Mountains.

Or for something a little different, stay at Villa Sonia, pearched high above the coast in Castelmola di Taormina with uninterupted views of the magnificent Mount Etna and what could be better than, after a long day out, heading back to sit on your terrace to watch the sun setting over the countryside where you were walking, only an hour or so earlier.
