Fab town centre apartments in especially fab historic town. Ray & Annie adore Martina Franca, and that this house is right in the middle of it, and the incredible views of the old town & the Itria Valley.
Arguably one of Puglia's most beautiful Baroque towns, Martina Franca is perfect for the very best experience of Pugliese town life. On one of Martina's lovely old tree-lined streets, right opposite an entrance into the "centro storico ", Casa Martina Franca is a town house with two apartments, and it is special.
Dating back to the 1880's, there is a typically steep staircase (24 steps), leading to the tastefully furnished apartments, which are of a particularly high standard, offering very good quality.
Carol from Colchester, wrote, "The apartment in Casa Martina Franca was lovely and the owners were so helpful, but what delighted us most was being so close to the town's historical centre and yet, within minutes, we could be in the beautiful Itria Valley. We marvelled at the Sunday tradition of buying cakes - I've never seen so many people buying cakes, at one time, in my life! "

Grande (sleeps 2)
Particularly special, on two floors, with huge roof terrace; large open-plan double/twin bedroom and sitting area, with TV, star-vaulted ceiling and double doors to small balcony, overlooking street, with its white houses, and old churches in the distance; shower room, not huge but nice; very steep staircase (17 steps) to charming kitchen/dining room, with spacious fridge, hob, microwave; a few steps to large furnished roof terrace, with spectacular views, over street, to famous Basilica San Martino and the San Domenico church and over open countryside. A stunning spot.
Piccolo (sleeps 2)
On one floor, smaller, with no roof terrace, but delightful; more limited kitchen/dining room, with small hob, equally spacious fridge, microwave; double doors to views of street and nearby land; shower room, not huge but nice; double bedroom, TV, double doors, lovely views over Itria Valley.

"Very well appointed with a lovely roof terrace and fabulous views. Convenient for the town and very nice, thoughtful hosts." Peter & Mary, Worthing
"Loved the balcony outside the kitchen, fab views of the town. Owner couldn't have been more helpful. My wife LOVED the handbag shop - made-to-measure leather handbags at a very good price (so she tells me!). Wonderful to just walk out into the town and enjoy its festivals."
